Awards Come x + math

The Ministry of Education has launched the P rogram depth of knowledge aimed at students with greater ability and motivation to learn.

it is intended to move towards a model of education based on principles of equity and excellence, inclusive education, intercultural and diverse to attend to personal, interpersonal, social and vocational students becoming aware of their own abilities and motivations to strive to develop them.

The "view x + mathematics"

The Ministry of Education has commissioned to the English Federation of Teachers of Mathematics the development of a specific program for mathematics in the general program. The FESPM has titled this program "see x + math."

preferably is aimed at students in the fourth year of ESO, but students may join third party. The basic curriculum level, therefore, knowledge is generally acquired in 3 ยบ ESO. The program aims to deepen this knowledge by broadening the curriculum and supplementing, but not anticipating knowledge to be acquired by these students in subsequent courses. It also aims to deepen mathematical thinking about the world around us, putting the knowledge gained on other fields of knowledge, so that mathematics are multifaceted it stems from a whole and that students can thus better achieve competencies that define the educational stage of the ESO.

This program will be implemented in groups of about 20 students and coordinated by two monitors. Each group will develop 9 sessions of three hours, one every 15 days. In between sessions the students will perform some activities at home. Has been developed
